She was a teacher and developed programs in the painting department, at the same Art school, from 1986 to 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Milhazes is considered as one of the most important Brazilian and international artists, having participated at the Carnegie International, (1995); Sydney Biennial (1998); S\u00e3o Paulo Biennial (1998, 2004); Shangai Biennial (2006) and Venice Biennale (2003, 2024).<\/p>\n<p>She has had innumerous international solo and survey exhibitions including Pinacoteca do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, S\u00e3o Paulo (2008); Fondation Cartier, Paris (2009); Fondation Beyeler, Basel (2011); Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon (2012); MALBA &#8211; Museo de Arte Latinoamericano, Buenos Aires (2012); Pa\u00e7o Imperial, Rio de Janeiro (2013), P\u00e9rez Art Museum, Miami (2014\/2015), MASP, S\u00e3o Paulo (2020 ), Long Museum, Shanghai (2021), Turner Contemporary, Margate (2023), Tate St Ives, St Ives (2024) and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York (2025).<\/p>\n<p>Her work is included in important museums and public collections such as Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; MoMA \u2013 The Museum of Modern Art, New York; Solomon R.
